Senior Services of America Programs
Senior Services of America provides our communities with resident-centered programs in dining, wellness, and life enrichment.
Our life enrichment programs are developed to continually bring fun and learning to our residents. Our programs include physical activities, creative crafts, educational, spiritual, and social programs which support the development of new friendships. Activities focused on health and wellness, trips to local theaters, baseball and football games for both professional and local high school teams are always a favorite, as well as shopping and exploring the local areas’ attractions are also part of our programs. We encourage family involvement with our programs offering family movie nights, theme dinners, and invite them to any outings where families can interact and remain an integral part of our residents’ lives.
We offer a well rounded health and wellness program designed to support the continued independence and dignity of each resident. We pride ourselves on offering a high level of services to keep our residents in their new homes through end of life. We work closely with industry partners such as hospice, and home health agencies to be an extension of our services. Where possible, our Wellness Programs are being lead by a Registered Nurse who keeps in close contact with all facets of a residents’ care from the resident, families, physicians and extended care partners, including managing our residents when they are having a temporary stay at another care setting, we are still involved in the wellness of our residents.
We provide a variety of menu items which supports our residents’ choice in how they dine. We offer restaurant-style dining to the traditional dining room experience. Our menus are designed by a dietician and customized to each community location. Each guest is greeted by well dressed, customer focused team member who will explain the specials for the day, then ensure any special requests are addressed for that meal. We can accommodate the needs of our residents with special diets, physician ordered diets, and healthy eating options.
Resident satisfaction is our number one goal at Senior Services of America. Every month we survey and interview a selection of the residents and their family members at our communities to ensure we are providing the very best service possible. We measure satisfaction in care, food, cleanliness, responsiveness, communication, activities, and transportation.
