Testimonials From Our Residents

What I like best...
"We love to dance whenever the entertainers play music. It reminds us of going to parties in New York City."

~ C & C Butera, Residents, Broadview Assisted Living at Pensacola

"...feel right at home."
"When we first visited Broadview, you provided us with a full tour and introduced us to staff and other residents, making my parents feel right at home. You provided lots of information that helped us all make a decision. Your continued involvement in their activities means a great deal to all of us. We appreciate you and the entire staff who are willing to make their lives more joyful every day.

~ June Butera, Resident Family Member, Broadview Assisted Living at Pensacola

 "What I like best..."
"I can plant flowers to see outside my window here just like I did at my house."

~ Ruth Cole, Resident, Broadview Assisted Living at Pensacola

"...greeted by smiles..."
"When we walked into the building we were greeted by smiles from all the staff, the building was as attractive on the inside as on the out. It was so clean and smelled good. My mother fell in love with the staff and became a strong part of the Broadview family. The smiles and friendliness never went away. Broadview has so much to offer that my mother was totally satisfied there."

~ Marilyn T., Resident Family Member, Broadview Assisted Living at Pensacola

What I like best...
"I am so happy to be here at Broadview. It was very lonesome to be at my house after my wife died. I like to sing and entertain my friends here. My table mates are retired military guys like me."

~ E. Hacker, Resident, Broadview Assisted Living at Pensacola

"...a great fit..."
"From the moment my mother in law moved in we have seen a more alert and active Mom. What she needed most was stimulation that she now gets at Broadview from new friends and activities. She is engaged again and more active everyday. It is a great fit for her."

~ Mick Novota, Resident Family Member, Broadview Assisted Living at Pensacola

"...part of a big family."
"Living at Broadview is like being part of a big family. Everyone helped me celebrate my 100th Birthday on June 20th 2012!"

~ L. Loth, Resident, Broadview Assisted Living at Pensacola

"I feel safe..."
"Some things I like about living at Broadview are that I can take part in activities or stay in my suite and sew on my machine to make doll clothes. I feel safe and like the nurse here 24/7 to check my blood pressure."

~ Nellie McNeal, Resident, Broadview Assisted Living at Pensacola

 What I like best...
"I have fun teaching other residents how to quilt. I use mine to decorate my suite."

~ Charlene Smith, Resident, Broadview Assisted Living at Pensacola

What I like best...
"I love to get dressed up for parties and to go out for lunch on Friday's, any excuse to wear a hat!"

~ J. E. Patton, Resident, Broadview Assisted Living at Pensacola

"...no cooking or cleaning..."
"With no cooking or cleaning we feel like a Mardi Gras King and Queen every day since we moved to Broadview!"

~ Hector & Santa Mares, Residents, Broadview Assisted Living at Pensacola

"...open yet homey feel."
"The outside area resembled that of a quaint little motel, with nicely manicured lawns and trees. There were lovely French doors throughout the foyer and facility, which we really liked. They gave the building an open, yet homey feel. The interior design was lovely with gorgeous views throughout. There was also a piano in the main room. Residents are treated to many fun excursions, from sight seeing to nature walks and cultural events. The staff appeared to accommodate all levels of ambulation. Seniors are encouraged to enjoy physical activity as much as possible. The residents enjoy yoga and aerobics classes, sometimes held outdoors. Because the weather is so mild there, the residents may enjoy walks along the beach and spend time outdoors on a near year round basis. The dining areas had beautiful hardwood floors, which felt homey and clean. The food we saw looked and smelled delicious. The menus included food options for all kinds of diets. Private rooms all had separate temperature controls. There was ample room for nice chairs and other furnishings. Bathrooms were nicely decorated and designed, with safety rails. All had a great deal of natural light and fresh air, through large windows. The seniors appeared content here, with just the amount of care and attention required."

"We both love our new home."
"Although living alone was depressing I had not made a change. When I toured beautiful Broadview and found out dogs are welcome I moved in the next week. My dog Max is very popular. We both love our new home."

~ B. Lee, Resident, Broadview Assisted Living at Pensacola

"...always something to do."
"Knowing he was happy and that he was cared for with kindness and compassion made it so much easier for us all. My father said that everyone there was so nice and there was always something to do!"

~ R. Grant, Resident Family Member, Broadview Assisted Living at Pensacola

"...Community mascot Belle..."
"I love to exercise and do my laps each day on the paved walkway around Broadview. Another highlight is visiting with the Community mascot Belle the pug dog!"

~ Jim Gordon, Resident, Broadview Assisted Living at Pensacola

"...a wonderful reputation."
"We greatly appreciate your spirit of cooperation and patience with us. Knowing that my mother will be residing in a facility with such a wonderful reputation will give us a great deal of comfort through my hospital stay and recuperation."

~ E. Drake, Respite Resident Family Member, Broadview Assisted Living at Pensacola

"Everyone here is helpful..."
With low vision it is easy to live at Broadview because there are no steps anywhere and there are handrails in the hallways. Everyone here is helpful and I love my new best friend Santa Mares!

~ H. Myers, Resident, Broadview Assisted Living at Pensacola

"...peace of mind..."
"The peace of mind knowing my Dad was in good hands meant the world. He had comfort in his new surroundings and enjoyed the time he had with all of you. Your staff made sure all the details were thought of and met. I hope Broadview will still be there should my needs growing older call for assisted living!"

~ Lexie McGill Thorsen, Resident Family Member, Broadview Assisted Living at Pensacola
