Testimonials From Our Residents

 "... a marvelous experience ..."
"“I am writing to express my admiration for the staff at Mountain Meadows. Since my parents’ arrival in August, 2016, they and I have been treated to a marvelous experience by your entire crew. This has eased their transition to assisted living and provided comfort for me. The caregivers and other staff are pleasant, considerate and reassuring to Mom and Dad.

The Mountain Meadows staff has an amazing ability to prioritize urgent needs of the residents. This allows the residents the dignity and comfort that contribute to the high quality of life they have. Staff camaraderie and mutual support are clearly the norm and nonclinical and clinical staff are both engaged in helping the residents.

This great coordination doesn’t just happen fortuitously. It is fostered by leadership and example, so kudos to you, Nate, and the administrative and clinical leaders at Mountain Meadows! My comments extend to the kitchen staff, maintenance men, reception and housekeeping and includes Fern and the volunteers, and others I may not have named. Thanks to all of you!”"

~ Karen Smith, Resident Family Member, Mountain Meadows Senior Living Community

" far at the top of the list in every category"
"I love this place and so appreciate all that you do to ensure the highest quality of life for all of your residents. I've worked in the Elder Care industry for over twenty years and have visited clients in dozens of facilities in Eastern Washington.  Mountain Meadows is by far at the top of the list in every category! Thank you for your continued personal and professional commitment and business goals that respect the privacy and dignity of everyone: residents, family members, and staff alike."

~ Bill Dodge, Resident Family Member, Mountain Meadows Senior Living Community

"...treated with great respect..."

" on every level."
"Thank you for being so kind, professional, and expert on every level. We think the staff at Mountain Meadows is the BEST! We never expected to see such a positive change in our Mom. It is nothing short of a miracle. We would not consider making her home anywhere else but Mountain Meadows."

~ Clint and Suzie Hollingsworth, Resident Family Member, Mountain Meadows Senior Living Campus

"My mother is stronger and  happier."
"Mountain Meadows has a friendly family atmosphere, and my mom takes part in great activities. She gets to enjoy parties, fishing trips, mountain picnics, shopping, movies, scenic drives, and religious services. She consults medical professionals (often right in her rooms), goes to the on-site beauty parlor, and takes part in current events groups.  She even rides down the street as an honored part of the city’s annual grand parade! And that’s not even half of all she does. She tells me the food is great, and from reading the weekly menus, I wish I ate there. Mountain Meadows has simply been a godsend for my mom and for me. They are able to provide the daily care that I cannot, but just as important, the staff members at Mountain Meadows offer my mother an environment rich with respect, dignity, and even love. I never imagined the staff of an assisted living facility could ever be as professional, kind, patient, and caring as the Mountain Meadows folks really are. The stress we once had to face from hour to hour is no longer part of our relationship. My mother is stronger and happier. Our time together is time we can cherish. I do not know how to place a value on it. Our lives are better now."

~ Gerald Tiffany, Resident Family Member, Mountain Meadows Senior Living Campus

"...felt at home..."
We LOVED being there and would love to come back some day! So good for our kids to do something that matters, rather than just singing on a silly old stage. This was the favorite part of the trip for many of the kids! They felt at home and like they were with their own grandparents. What a wonderful facility you have!

"I receive more than I give."
"I have been associated with Mountain Meadows since early 2001 when my father was a Resident, coming from Federal Way, WA.  While he lived there, I became a volunteer in the Activities Program. My desire to volunteer was based on "Where goes my father, therefore go I." I embraced all his fellow Residents as though they were family. Twelve years later, the residents are still my family and I continue as a volunteer in many capacities. My passion is and always will be directed towards the Mountain Meadows family. I truly receive more that I give."

~ Marcia Willman, Volunteer, Mountain Meadows Senior Living Campus

"I would recommend your facility to anyone..."
"I would recommend your facility to anyone that truly values a professional, yet empathetic care giving setting."

~ Julie W., Resident Family Member, Mountain Meadows Senior Living Campus

"...highest level of care..."
"I wanted to take a moment to express our sincere appreciation for your dedication to our patients, staff and Cascade Medical. As I "round" with staff members, they repeatedly acknowledge your important role and presence in our patient care meetings. I so look forward to continuing our collaborative journey towards providing the highest level of care for our patients and their families. Thank you."

~ Julie Meredith, Chief Nursing Officer, Cascade Medical Center

"...kind, caring staff..."
"It was an extremely difficult decision to move our mother out of her home and into assisted living. I can't imagine how we would have done it without the kind, caring staff at Mountain Meadows. Everyone was so helpful, kind and encouraging as we made the transition. Mom is so happy and content in her new home. The care she receives is amazing and every detail is taken care of so we can relax knowing that mom is in very capable hands."

~ Carrie Jones, Resident Family Member, Mountain Meadows Senior Living Campus

"...loved every minute of it."
"Mountain meadows is a beautiful facility nestled in a valley with mountains all around. My mother lived there from 2002 - 2009, and loved every minute of it. The staff were excellent, caring, wonderful people, who obviously cared deeply about their residents. Residents had the opportunity to participate in exercise classes, outings, shopping sprees in the village, meals at restaurants in the village, and walks around the beautiful grounds of the facility. Mother knew all of the employees by name and what their tasks were, and loved chatting with them. They treated her with respect, and spent as much time with her as she needed. When mother began needed extra care, they actually hired another aide to attend to her needs. My family is eternally grateful for the wonderful love and care our mother received at mountain meadows."

~ From, Resident Family Member, Mountain Meadows Senior Living Campus

"It is evident they care..."
"It has been my honor to work with the residents and staff of the Mountain Meadows campus. The staff is always helpful and responds to our questions appropriately and professionally. It is evident they care for the residents and are very knowledgeable as to the resident’s specific care needs. The laboratory staff of Cascade Medical Center comes to the community every 2 weeks to fulfill laboratory orders given by the resident’s health care provider. We value our cooperative working relationship and find it a pleasure to assist."

~ Jain Rogers, Cooperative Health Care Provider, Mountain Meadows Senior Living Campus

"activities are always fun and have great variety."
"As a new volunteer, I can tell you that activities at Mountain Meadows are always fun and have great variety. Parties are held on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentines Day, Mother and Father’s days, Birthdays, Red Hat day, and almost any other occasion that Fern Arness, our Activities Director and residents would like to celebrate. Pictures of residents and staff at all Mountain Meadows celebrations are posted for everyone to enjoy. Bus trips for shopping to Safeway,  & Fred Meyer in Wenatchee occur regularly, along with adventures through downtown  Leavenworth during the various festival events. The drive through beautiful Tumwater Canyon to Lake Wenatchee is always appreciated. The annual residents participation in the Leavenworth Autumn Leaf Festival parade, both on the float and being pushed by staff in wheelchairs is a fall highlight. The Octoberfest with Family members invited to share lunch at Mountain Meadows, included staff in Trachten, serving food, Bavarian beer &  wine. Pictures, followed by  Bavarian music and “chicken dance” instruction were great fun for all of us. The well attended Christmas Cookie decoration party demonstrated  the artistry of our resident pastry chefs,  and we brought the beautiful results back for dessert at dinner. Mountain Meadows is an exceptionally wonderful place."

"I highly recommend Mountain Meadows."
"I have been a resident of Mountain Meadows for the past 6 months. Both my family and I are very pleased that we have become part of the Mountain Meadows family. Everyone is so kind, considerate, and encouraging. The caregivers are friendly and respectful and take pride in what they do. They are always professional, yet personal. There is always a variety of activities to participate in and the dietary department makes every effort to accommodate our special requests or dietary needs. I highly recommend Mountain Meadows."

~ Kay Feil, Resident, Mountain Meadows Senior Living Campus

"...a very happy senior citizen..."
"In September 2012 I became a temporary resident of Mountain Meadows Assisted Living while recovering from a medical emergency. The care I received during my recuperation was excellent. While I was there, I looked at the newly constructed Independent Living duplex Cottages, and found them to be exactly what I needed. I moved into my cottage unit in December and am very pleased with my new home. Having an attached garage, air conditioning and a full sized washer/dryer are just the beginning of amenities that make this unit a real value. Mountain Meadows on-site maintenance personnel and weekly housekeeping make this single male a very happy senior citizen...not to mention being just steps away from a home-cooked meal. I’ve found the administration and the staff to be very efficient and dining with my fellow residents to be a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend others look at this opportunity in Leavenworth living."

~ David Severance, Resident, Mountain Meadows Senior Living Campus

"...the staff is exceptionally caring."
"Mountain Meadows has been an excellent place for my Aunt. The staff has a way of making even the most introverted feel at ease. Even though the facility is larger, it still feels small and personable. They have wonderful field trips and events and the staff is exceptionally caring."

~ Laurie Reister, Resident Family Member, Mountain Meadows Senior Living Campus
